Experience
Welcome to my raku experience.
Select 2 items from a premade selection and glaze paint them ready to fire.
Then we will leave them for a short time to dry
I will put them in the kiln and fire them.
Maybe make yourself a cup of tea or coffee while we wait.
When red hot and glowing with molten glaze, we will extract them with tongs place them in the reduction bins where their raw heat will ignite the combustibles.
The lid is shut and the flames burn off all the oxygen (reduction ) and the magic happens.
After 20 minutes or so we will open the bins and clean up the items. Admire them ready to take home and Wow your friends. If you are under 12 a big person will remove your work from the kiln.
£45 per person includes all materials, Tea/Coffee and Biscuits.
Up to 2 extra pots can be fired at £6 each.
Event lasts approximately 2.5 Hours.
Experiences are for 2-6 people.
